The world of Sulani is also completetly immersive, as there are specific traditions the locals follow that players can engage with and enjoy.Īll of this culminates in a game that sets missions and tasks to the side and puts escapism front and center. There is also a conservation mechanic, where players can clean up trash and pollution and keep the island beautiful. The creation options are robust, as to be expected, and mermaids have unique interactions with the environment of Sulani. Players can now make mermaids in the creation mode as well as randomly meet them while playing the game. One unique feature of Island Living is the new type of sim players can create. Instead of flat yards like in the first games, the homes of Sulani have hilly terrains, tropical trees, and gorgeous ocean views. The new island Sulani demonstrates the capacity of the game’s new terrain tools. Instead, it gives you a fully-realized island paradise that you can have an impact on and is loaded down with tons of activities and features. Island Living doesn’t change the formula or introduce any new mechanics. If you enjoy the core gameplay loop of The Sims 4 and are just looking for a new place to enjoy managing your Sims, the Island Living expansion pack is the one for you. However, here are the best The Sims 4 expansions that you should start with.

If you’re new to the game, though, whether you're playing on PC, Xbox One, or PS4, navigating which expansions are best can be a little overwhelming. With so many options available, players can pick and choose the precise experience they want to have in their game. While The Sims 4 was a little barren when it first released, the game’s copious expansions have done a lot to flesh out the game. Players have been returning to the franchise for two decades, and each game offers its own unique spin on simulated life. These personally are my favorites because they all add a ton of build/buy/cas objects and immersive gameplay that. The Sims arguably has one of the most loyal fanbases of any video game franchise.
SIMS 4 ALL EXPANSIONS WORTH IT MOVIE
SPs- Cool Kitchen, Kids Room, Movie Hangout, Backyard Stuff I've been playing the sims since it first launched nearly 18 years ago and this is my list of GP,SP, and EPs that I recommend to new players or returning players to make the most out of the Sims 4ĮPs- GTW, CL (Cats and Dogs is an honorable mention) It honestly depends on the kind of player you are and how you want to play the sims. Pets is nice too but honestly after a while, besides the build/buy/cas objects, I kind of lost all hype for the pets (They require way too much attention and will run away if you don't pet them every 3 in-game hours) but they are a nice feature if you want to add cats dogs into your game!

City Living is a good option as well because it adds a whole new world, apartments, festivals, a ton of new objects, etc. If you prefer joining your sim on the job and like the 3(4 technically if you count owning a business) options set for active careers, then get Get To Work is great. It adds immersive gameplay and a tooooooon of new objects. While the clubs introduced in Get Together are nice it's not a complete and total game changer. Yeah I think Get Together is underrated, I see a lot of people say it isn’t worth it but honestly I use the clubs on literally every single sim I make, it’s the best way to get them out and make friends and do different activities! And then of course the Dance Clubs are also amazing, DJ skill and Dance skill are super awesome for someone like me who makes party sims a lot, and Windenburg is huge and very pretty! City Living is really good as well, I like them both equally, I am just surprised when I see Get To Work rated above Get Together so often when it added so many social interactions (which are infinitely replay-able) whereas Get To Work (which I also like, don’t get me wrong, just not as much as City Living and Get Together,) just added the new careers, aliens, and retail which I know most people had bugs/issues with? I use the other two expansions the most by far, I just think people sometimes forget which of that stuff came with which expansions :3 Also in terms of game packs I probably use Dine Out most, I have so many restaurants in my save files and am always making new ones even if I don’t run them myself, so my sims can go out on dates D and then probably Vampires next? I know Parenthood is also amazing but I don’t play many family sims with kids, it’s more singles or couples so I don’t use it as much, but for family players it’s totally worth it :)Īctually, I prefer Get To Work and City Living.
